I think voice is most important thing becasue voice appear many things. For example, someone's personality and mind, state even enviroments so when I met someone at first I try to keep my voice bright.

In my opinion, making eye contact can be a good way for positive first impression. You can show an attitude that you are interested in her/his speaking through eye contact. However, you have to be careful not to give her/him uncomfortable feeling by continuing eye contact too consistently.
